Campbell Avenue has fully re-opened in downtown Springfield as of today. The road was closed in April to make way for a variety of improvements and for construction of the College Station theater project, which is set to open later this fall. The closure allowed City Utilities crews to replace a sanitary sewer line 12 feet below the street surface, as well as several other utility lines. The street was also closed so masonry work could be completed on the east side of the College Station complex, which will house a 14-screen movie theater run by Hollywood Theaters, and retail space. A traffic calming measure has also been added on this section of Campbell. A ??
