Balance Fitness Studio will be formally opening doors its Friday, February 18 from 5 to 10 pm. Balance is a unique, cosmopolitan fitness facility offering a wide range of fitness programs that are sure to be cutting edge to the southwest Missouri region.
"Strengthening, lengthening and toning" will be the mantra in this fusion-based teaching facility. From the moment you walk through its doors, the decor transcends your senses to a new serene balance. Once inside patrons will find two distinctly different studios, each with its own personality and pure quality sound system for music that will inspire its members with energy and rhythm. Rooms are infused with a gentle heat that allows client's bodies to release toxinswhile growing stronger and accelerates healing from improved circulation.
In addition to its studios, Balance offers full organic spa services, an in-house nutritional counselor and a childcare center with planned educational and recreational activities so parents can stay focused on their wellness program throughout their retreat at the studios.
Balance Fitness is owned by Blanca Freelander and assisted by her Program Coordinator, Darla Morrelo. Blanca has stated the company's mission is to continually innovate and introduce new techniques in order to keep her members challenged and motivated. With more than 60 diversified classes per week ranging from Restorative Yoga to TRX, a high cardio and strenuous work out, Balance covers a wide variety of choices.
The following is a sampling of the classes offered:
From its vibrant atmosphere, to knowledgeable instructors helpful to meet all its member's personal health goals, Balance is preparing to change the way most individuals approach fitness. The studio is not only a place to work out, but also a destination. Balance believes that its members may soon start calling the studio their second home.
Balance Studio selected the Jordan Creek Lofts based on its primary belief in the renaissance of the downtown area. With this growth, she has watched it be centralized to most traffic patterns of commuters through the city. The accessibility before and after work off Chestnut and close proximity to universities makes morning or late afternoon work out an easier routine. Additionally, the ambiance of the renovated industrial structure is a stunning contrast to the sterile butler structures used by most fitness facilities.
Inside this newly renovated building on the southwest corner of National Avenue and Chestnut Expressway, Balance will open its doors to the public on Friday, February 18from 5 to 10 pm for an open house celebratory evening. On Saturday, February 19 and Sunday, February 20 from 9 am to 3 pm the studio will be offering free classes to all, on a first-come basis.
