The Springfield Regional Arts Council (SRAC), with help from the Junior League of Springfield, Mo., presents Free Art Day at The Creamery Arts Center, Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Several fun spring activity stations will be available, including gift wrap making, printmaking rubbing techniques, journal decorating, and necklace and/or medallion making. Best of all, children will be able to make their own stamps to print here or take home to print later.
All ages and artistic abilities are welcome for hands-on art activities and no registration is required. Every participant can create and take home one item at each station, with instruction and supplies provided by SRAC staff and volunteers. The Creamery, at 411 N. Sherman Parkway, is located in Jordan Valley Park, at the intersection of Sherman and Trafficway, just west of Hammons Field.
Free Art Days are held on the third Saturday of every other month. Upcoming dates in 2012 are June 16 at TheCreamery Arts Center.

The Springfield Regional Arts Council, incorporated in 1978, connects people and the arts.
