A Southside staple for the past five years, Parlor 88 has been looking for a home in downtown for quite some time. An offer was made to an existing Park Central East location, Fedora Social House, which the fondue restaurant couldn’t refuse.
The transition will begin the end of September with the lower level Opus Cigar Bar remaining open during renovations.
“One of my first college jobs began downtown at Ernie Biggs in 2005 and I’ve been with Parlor 88 since we opened on Republic Road in 2007. I’m excited to have the chance to come back downtown and be a part of the awesome changes that are happening in center city,” stated managing partner, Seth Elliott.
Parlor 88 is well known for their trendy atmosphere and “The Black Book,” their extensive drink menu featuring 88 beers, 88 wines, and 88 martinis.”
