Springfield, Mo.— On Dec. 7, 2007, The Coffee Ethic opened its doors on Park Central Square in the heart of Downtown Springfield for its first Art Walk crowd.
Now, five years later, The Coffee Ethic will commemorate its anniversary in the same way with a celebration during Art Walk on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. Tom Billionis, owner of The Coffee Ethic, said this is a huge benchmark for his business and looks forward where the future will take it.
“We’re excited to have been a part of both the revitalization of the Downtown Springfield and the emerging coffee culture in Springfield these past five years,” Billionis said. “And we are looking forward to many more years of serving our customers their daily coffee.”
The Coffee Ethic’s Five Year Anniversary Party will include live music from The Ozark Sheiks, specialty drinks, door prizes, limited edition swag, great food and general merriment. The festivities begin at 7 p.m. and will continue until 11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7.
About The Coffee Ethic:
Coffee is the heart of The Coffee Ethic. Our name comes from the Greek word “Ethikos”, literally translated into modern English as “theory of living”. Our theory of living and business is to focus on the quality of every cup of coffee, value people and care for the earth. We are dedicated to the art and science of brewing and strive to cultivate an environment that enhances the entire coffee experience. Our coffee and training come from PT’s Coffee Roasters, nationally known for excellence. The Coffee Ethic is located on Park Central Square in heart of Downtown Springfield.
