Cards Unveil New Logo

November 9, 2006 - The Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of the World Champion St. Louis Cardinals, unveiled a brand new logo earlier today, which will debut next season, their third year of Texas League action.

The new logo is featured on a navy blue cap with a red bill, and displays “Sluggerbird”, an animated Cardinal swinging a bat through a white cursive “C”.

The new hats featuring the alternate logo will be worn during all Sunday home games as well as special games throughout the season.

Fitted hats displaying the new logo are now on sale exclusively at the Springfield Cardinals Team Store, located at Hammons Field. Adjustable hats will be available around the holidays.

Regular business hours for the Springfield Cardinals Team Store are 11am – 6pm, Monday through Friday.
