The Antique Cowboy Western Hero Museum and Gallery opens on Friday, June 6th, from 6-9 p.m. at 219 E. Commercial Street.
Meet special guests -- miniature horses from Seven S Miniature Horse Farm. They even expect to have a tiny foal! These beautiful horses are part of "Pet Night" on Commercial Street. Outdoor pet-friendly dining, exhibits and pet portraits by Mike Wingo in his photography studio are just a few ways to have family fun on C-Street.
Cowboys and their horses have created their own style since the 1800's. The collection of western hero toys from the 50's, saddles, cap guns and vintage American flags keeps this old west spirit alive on historic Commercial Street.
The Antique Cowboy's "new" home was built in the late 1800's. David and Jill Denton fell in love with the historic building and district, "It has a high tin ceiling, old wooden floors and exposed brick walls...everything we were searching for. When we went next door to Big Momma's Coffee and Espresso Bar, we didn't realize we'd also found our home away from home. The friendly sense of community we've experienced on C-Street is just what we wanted. We think you'll like it too."
Regular hours: Tues.-Sat. 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
