DSA Downtown Business Spotlight: BKD LLP

The Downtown Springfield Association recognizes that business, both large and small, can select any number of locations in and around Springfield when opening their business. For those employers who have chosen downtown the DSA wants to say “Thank You”. The DSA is kicking off an Employer Appreciation Program to thank companies located downtown by giving a little back. For the next 6 months local companies will be appreciated with free coffee service from The Coffee Ethic, complimentary lunches provided by downtown restaurants; Hickok’s Steakhouse, Grandaddy’s Barbeque and Bailey’s American Grille, as well as Downtown Discount cards for employees, valued at more than $70 worth of downtown discounts.

BKD LLP, located in downtown Springfield since 1948, will be recognized for the month of July in the DSA Employer Appreciation Program.

BKD LLP Springfield office has been in downtown for 60 years, originally located in the McDaniel building until August of 1987 when BKD moved into the Hammons Tower.
