  <content>On Friday June 5, 2009, Commercial Street will host the 2nd annual "First Friday Pet Stroll".  This event highlights the pet friendly and family friendly atmosphere of the street and is free to all to attend. The event will last from 6-9:30.

 
Many of the merchants along Commercial Street offer unique shopping and activites for the entire family.  Freedom Photography will be on hand to take pet portraits, Fusion Stained Glass will be revealing a new line of pet jewelry, Decades Vintage Boutique has plans for "Pin the Tail on the Doggie" and Antique Cowboy will have Pet Therapy of the Ozarks as guests in their shop.  Visitors will also want to stroll down to the Commercial Street Sonic.  They are offering great dinner deals and inviting everyone to enjoy their outdoor seating.

 
Springfield's newest pet magazine, TAME, is hosting a kid's art contest.  The winners of the contest will have their artwork appear in an upcoming issue of the magazine.  
 
Other pet friendly businesses are planning to be on the street that night to greet visitors.  Those planning to attend are:  All Pet Supplies, Barkbusters, On the Spot Dog Training, Boxer/Schnauzer Rescue of the Ozarks, All Breed Pet Grooming and Tendercare Grooming.
 
Come for fun and treats!  The First Friday Pet Stroll Pet is enjoyable for the whole family!
