First Night Springfield 2010 20 Years of Celebrating! December 31, 2009 5:30pm – Midnight Join us as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of First Night Springfield! First Night is a family-friendly, alcohol-free New Year’s Eve event held in 11 different venues in downtown Springfield. As we commemorate “20 Years of Celebrating” we will be re-living some of the most memorable acts from over the years, including performances from the Wingtips, FORBIDDEN OPERA, Nick, Ruell & Ned the Band, the Skinny Improv and a fireworks finale with Kim Crosby. We’ll also have hands-on activities for kids, including face-painting and balloon twisting. There will be something for everyone in your family to enjoy! They can be purchased at any area Kum & Go, Dillon’s Supermarkets, Smillie’s IGA, The Library Center, The Library Station, Park Central Library, or at the Creamery Arts Center.
