Commercial Club recently received a $2,500 grant from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. The grant is slotted to be used as payment to add the Commercial Street Historic district to the list of stops that Artrain USA will be making across the country in late fall of 2007.
Artrain USA is a museum in train cars that travels the nation, showcasing art exhibitions and offering art education to the communities it stops in.
Fall 2007 will be the last year that the train will present Modern Art of the Native American Indian culture.
Visitors to the train museum can tour the four vintage train cars that house this traveling art exhibit for free during its three day stay at the Jefferson Avenue Footbridge.
