City Utilities has operated the public transit system for the City of Springfield since 1945.

Bike racks are now available on City Utilities’ buses to encourage bike and bus combination commuting. The City of Springfield has designated many bicycle-friendly city routes that can be used as well.
All of City Utilities’s buses are equipped with bicyle racks to encourage combined commuting. The racks are easy to use and will only take a few moments to load a bicycle.
