Cook’s Kettle Restaurant opened in 2003 as a learning laboratory for the Victory Trade School. It is an economical place to eat on the north side. Cook’s Kettle received the 2010 Restaurant Neighbor Award for the state of Missouri from the National Restaurant Association. Cook’s Kettle serves an eclectic clientele; it’s open for breakfast and lunch with window seating for a view of historic C-Street, The Friday Brunch with is very popular with music by John Derby and his practical jazz guitar.
