Ruthie’s Bar opened it’s doors in 1986. The historic building Ruthie’s Bar occupies was built in 1880. The original People’s Bank of Springfield is now home to ice cold beer, liquor, and people of all types. Named after the original owner Ruthie Russell, this classic honky-tonk is a great place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the company of those around you.
