Historic Commercial Street announces its second annual Mardi Gras celebration! This popular event will feature a variety of entertainment choices located at 8 venues located in the C-street District. The event will kick off with a “bead run” at 7:30 which will feature drink specials at all venues.

Entertainment options will include live music by Flatiron at The Loft Martini Lounge, all-night dancing at Club Alchemy, a drag show by The Queen City Showgirls, followed by a Burlesque revue by the Cherry Bomb Burlesque, at Lindberg’s bar. Lindberg’s will be serving a specialty Mardi Gras brew by Mother’s Brewing, and will be hosting KC funk and soul band, The Good Foot to wrap up the evening. The Savoy ballroom will feature Menage a Trois, a trio of performers from St. Louis specializing in contact juggling, burlesque dance, and acrobatic bellydance. They will also sponsor a costume contest at 10:00 PM. Other events will include a live semi-nude body-painting display at LemonDrop Gallery, and live music at Big Momma’s and Q Enoteca as well as all-night karaoke at Ruthie’s bar. This event is for ages 18 and up, with 4 of the 8 venues being 21 years and up. ID verification of age required at each venue.
Tickets, enabling admission into all venues, will be available in for $7 in advance, beginning January 17th at Lindberg’s and Pizza House or $10 the evening of the event. For more information, please visit www.cstreetmardigras.com
