Dads and their daughters are invited to join Springfield Ballet and Operation Us for an evening of ballroom instruction, sweet treats and Valentine’s fun at the 2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance to be held Friday, February 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Exhibition Hall of the Creamery Arts Center. All proceeds support Springfield Ballet’s educational and outreach programming, aimed at making dance accessible to all children in the community.
Dance instructor, Johnny Lambert, will lead dads and daughters in a fun mini-lesson of swing and salsa dancing, followed by ballroom demonstrations à la “Dancing with the Stars!” Dads and their girls can smile for a special photo op and enjoy Valentine’s cookies and punch from The Traveling Chef. Operation Us will strengthen the father-daughter bond through BINGO, and everyone can try their luck at taking home some awesome “daddy-daughter date night” prize packages. Attire for the evening is your Sunday best!
