Enjoy some of Downtown's best live music this summer at Park Central Square in a free concert series presented by the Urban Districts Alliance. Bring your lawn chairs or enjoy dinner on the square in one of three outdoor cafes while enjoying great local music. Make it an extra special evening with a carriage ride on the square by Shires for Hire for just $5 per person. Going downtown for a night out is always a special event, it's all part of the Downtown Difference.

Our set this evening opens with local favorite Tony Menown & the Expectations features an acoustic style performing both covers and original tunes. Friends of Lynn a group with a very eclectic sound, playing original work as well as covers from Tom Petty, the Black Crowes, Shooter Jennings, Black Oak, and The Waterboy. Following Friends of Lynn is our finale act Nigel and the Ghost with their indie, rock, blues influenced style, this promises to be a exciting and unique musical experience that can only be found downtown.

The concert series continues on Fridays and Saturdays for the first three weekends in June (20, and 21) from 7 until 10 p.m. FREE admission -- so plan to come out before or after dinner at one of the 40 Downtown restaurants.
