Murney Associates, Realtors spoke with Adam Schoeller, lead singer for Justice Adams Band which is playing First Fridays At Park Central Square, Friday April 1.
Murney: How much is being in a band like being in a relationship?
JAB: 100%. You have to be able to accept constructive criticism without getting your feelings hurt. You have to trust one another enough to take a second look at the music. We’re all friends, but there’s a time to hang out and there’s a time to work. Communication is so important.
Murney: There’s a lot of talent in your band. On a scale of one to Slash, how would you rate your guitar solos?
JAB: (Laughter) Well any third grader with a guitar could play like me (editor’s note: not true in the slightest), but Cameron is up there. He can play anything. We were talking about adding slide guitar for one of our songs and he just picked it up and started playing it. Never done it before. Sounded awesome.
