New Year’s Rockin’ Eve at 1984 — Video games, pinball, costume contest, and more
Y2K at 417 Taphouse — Roll back the clock with a no cover party at 417 Taphouse
Blast Off! Into the New Year at Discovery Center — Early New Year’s Eve countdown for kids with a special space theme, including an obstacle course and a dance floor
**The Midlife at Front Of House Lounge — A four band lineup at Front Of House Lounge
Ozark Mountain Daredevils at Gillioz Theatre Gala — Ozark Mountain Daredevils, famed and beloved rock/country act from SGF, hosted by Downtown’s historic theatre.
Ice Skating at Mediacom Ice Park — There are three public skate sessions on New Year’s Eve (Noon-1:45 p.m., 2-3:30 p.m., 7-8:45 p.m.)
**Luna Jamboree at Outland — Luna Jamboree brings the party all night long
**Magic Johnson CD Release at Outland Ballroom — A new year, a new album and several bands in support (Gigantic, Cory King, and more)
JM Buttermilk’s Hot Buttered Soul ‘n’ R&B New Year’s Eve Revue — Perhaps the most sultry of parties in Springfield for New Year’s Eve. Mr. Buttermilk, himself, leads a band of the region’s finest musicians
Paralandra, Dakota Pagan at The Regency — A Decadent NYE celebration at the newly re-minted Regency
Queen City Pub Crawl — Springfield’s biggest party spans Downtown and Commercial Street.
