4 Ways Local Artists Can Get Involved with Artsfest

February 15, 2018

Are you a southwest-Missouri based artist looking to showcase your work? Save the date for Artsfest on Walnut Street, southwest Missouri’s largest fine arts festival, occurring May 5 and 6, 2018! It’s not too late to get involved—check out these four ways to get plugged into Artsfest.

Apply to have an artist booth.

Signing up to have a booth onsite at Artsfest 2018 is a great way to share your work with attendees and build your customer base. The booth fee is $225, and the deadline is next Wednesday, February 20. The application can be found on ZAPPlication.org.

Share a booth with another artist.

Want to share the cost of an Artsfest booth with a friend? Sharing booths is a great option. Both shared booth participants must apply separately and pay their jury fees individually. Shared individual booth fees add up to $125 per participant. Apply now on ZAPPlication.org.

Create live art onsite.

Snag a spot in this interactive festival zone that allows attendees to watch your creative process. It’s a great opportunity to build relationships with local patrons and socialize with other artists, plus you’ll receive a $50 honorarium for supplies! Applications open on February 20, and the application deadline is April 6. Apply online at springfieldarts.org/artsfest.

Join the planning committee.
