Are you a Downtown Superfan? Get the swag to prove it with our new Downtowner Loyalty Program

July 01, 2021

The Downtown Springfield Association is calling on its Superfans to aid the neighborhood’s locally-owned small businesses on the road to recovery.

Today the DSA launched a revamped Downtowner Loyalty Program. And, for the first time, it’s open to the general public. Anyone can be a Downtown Superfan and earn prizes for visiting the neighborhood and dining, drinking and shopping local.

“It’s going to take all of us to keep this recovery going, so it made sense to open up this program to everyone,” Jeff Kessinger, DSA Communications Manager, said. “It’s free to register and it rewards participants for visiting and supporting the places that make Downtown Springfield such a great place to live, work and play.”

A different collection of businesses is featured each month. Downtown Springfield’s restaurants and breweries take the spotlight in July.

Participation is easy and free. Visit itsalldowntown.com/loyalty to register. Once you’re signed up, visit a participating business and scan the QR code on the Downtown Superfan poster to check in. Check in at 10 locations and earn your prize!

July’s giveaway is a Downtown Superfan T-shirt, printed by 5 Pound Apparel. This exclusive shirt is only available to DSA members and Downtown Superfan participants.

Though the program is free and open to everyone, there are still incentives to join the Downtown Springfield Association. All DSA members are eligible for a special bonus prize once they’ve completed their check-ins for the month. Membership fees start at just $50 for an individual and $90 for a family. Each membership comes with additional benefits, including a free admission to select DSA events like Artsfest and Cider Days.

“We’ve got Taste of SoMo coming up Aug. 28 and all DSA members get a free sheet of tasting tickets for that event,” Kessinger said. “The DSA also holds mixers for our members Downtown, which are a great way to learn about what’s happening in the neighborhood and connect with your fellow Downtowners.”

A total of 14 businesses are featured in July: Best of Luck Beer Hall, Black Sheep Burgers & Shakes, Chameleon Cuisine, The Coffee Ethic, Druff’s, Gailey’s Breakfast Cafe, The Golden Girl Rum Club, Greek Belly, Lost Signal Brewing Company, Mother’s Brewing Company, The Order, Secret Sandwich, Springfield Brewing Company, St. Michael’s Restaurant and Catering, and Vantage Rooftop Lounge and Conservatory. Cherry Picker Package x Fare, a sister business of Best Of Luck Beer Hall and The Golden Girl Rum Club located at Cherry and Pickwick, is also participating this month.
