It is a truth universally acknowledged that a birthday must be in want of a celebration. In 2025, the Springfield-Greene County Library District cordially invites you to join them in celebrating the 250th birthday of renowned author Jane Austen. Delight in book discussions, film adaptations, crafts and more, all inspired by the works and world of Miss Austen. By attending the Downtown Book Club’s discussion of Pride and Prejudice on March 13, you will get a sticker specifically designed for the book. You can attend other library discussions of Jane’s novels to collect stickers for each of the other titles.
