Black Market Smokehouse opened in Springfield, Missouri in July of 2018. We specialize in authentic, pit-smoked meats prepared in the classic Southern technique of smoking on hickory and cherry wood. We also incorporate a variety of flavor profiles that represent our local communities we are ideally located in a cross roads between St. Louis, Kansas City, Memphis and Texas we like to think of ourselves as a collective of BBQ styles and culture.
Black Market Smokehouse also serves up a wide selection of traditional and no traditional sides that change seasonally . We feature craft beers, and a wide range of Non alcoholic beverages.
In classic barbecue style, we offer walk-up service to our counter on a first-come, first-served basis—until we sell out of that day’s specially cooked offerings. To make the wait enjoyable, chat with fellow diners, order an ice cold beer from the counter and listen to your favorite music .
