First Baptist Church is a multi-generational church located in downtown Springfield. They are a community of believers who strive to live lives pleasing to God. They believe that discipleship is a vital part of life of a believer.

First Baptist desires to see God through Christ deliver individuals from the bondage of sin, disciple them into faithful followers of Christ, and deploy them as leaders to the nations for the glory of God.

They would love to have you join our family as we study scripture and worship together. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. They sing gospel-centered songs and enjoy regular preaching from the Bible designed to help you grow in your relationship with God.

Whether you’re a college student, young professional, new parent, or experienced grandparent, they have Bible study groups, children’s programs, and opportunities to serve designed to help you know God better.
