First Friday Art Walk’s laid-back Saturday stroll event starts at noon

 Join the galleries of First Friday Art Walk noon-5 p.m. Jan. 13 for Second Saturday, our laid-back, Saturday afternoon stroll version of the Art Walk. Visitors will receive a warm welcome in 12 participating venues featuring original art, live art demonstrations, hands-on art activities and more!

 

Art Inspired offers Sip & Paint: Love Birds for Second Saturday

Art Inspired, 230 S. Market, features student work in various mediums from the Art Inspired Academy class Beginner Art to Market, plus don’t miss your opportunity to get hands on with art with Art Inspired’s Sip & Paint Class: Love Birds 1-3 p.m. Attendees must enroll at least 48 hours in advance; $35 fee covers all art materials.

      About the Artist: “I majored in art & graphic design at what was then Southwest Missouri State University. I seem to have always been interested in art and photography. Art has always been an integral part of my life from an early age.
