157 Park Central Square Springfield, MO 65806

The Historic Fox Theatre in downtown Springfield hosts the most emotionally compelling songwriters of our time, The Accidentals. The Traverse City, Michigan, trio is female-fronted multi-instrumentalists. The music is dynamic and intelligent. It’s a blend of Neko Case lyrics, Jack White rock, and Queen influences all over the place. It’s edgy, indie pop rock.

“The Accidentals display a genre-hopping range of influences and some smart songwriting skills to go with their abundant musical chops.” -BILLBOARD

“Already known for their high-energy live show and a willingness to connect with fans through personal tunes, plugged-in social media awareness and an intriguing backstory, The Accidentals are going places.” -HUFFINGTON POST

“They display equal interest in the focused musical forms of indie rock and pop and the expansive potential of orchestral arrangements, jam band open-endedness and impressionistic singer-songwriter expression.” -NPR FIRST LISTEN

The Accidentals will be joined by National Park Radio, modern folk band from Harrison, Arkansas. National Park Radio singer/songwriter/acoustic guitarist Stefan Szabo is an old soul, 30 going on 60. He got married on his 18th birthday, had two daughters by the time he was 21, and didn’t even start to write songs until he was 27. His music is timeless – it could well have been recorded at any point over the last 100 years, and its subjects are just as eternal – the urge to discover and explore the great wilderness, while remaining true to family, community and an open-minded belief system.
