Create small, functional dishes using rolled clay slabs and pressed textures like leaves, lace, or wood grain. Form over molds or shape by hand—perfect for jewelry or little treasures.

Week 2 – May 14: Pinch & Coil Vase or Bowl

Use traditional pinch and coil techniques to build a small, organically shaped vase or bowl. Emphasis on meditative making and embracing handmade beauty.

Skills Covered: Pinch forming, coil stacking, smoothing, vessel shaping.

Week 3 – May 21: Personality Mug

Design and build your own mug from a slab and give it personality—add faces, animals, or playful sculptural details.
