Missouri Humanities is hosting a haunted history walking tour in Springfield, MO. Take a walk back in time as we explore highlights from Civil War days featuring some of the notorious characters who inhabited Springfield in those times. Tour will be led by Cameron Collins, founder of Distilled History with a guest appearance by noted Joplin Author, Larry Wood Author Page.
All attendees should park at the College Station Car Park @ 3:45PM. Tour runs from 4:00PM – sunset. Price includes parking at end point of tour and transportation to starting point.
College Station Car Park (near Calaboose Museum) | Enter near 261 S. Campbell Ave (off of W. McDaniel)
Bus transportation will be provided by J. Howard Fisk Limousines, Inc. from the Maple Park Cemetery (bussed from walking tour end point to parking location)
Stops include Patton Alley Pub and Finnegan’s Wake. Total walking time is estimated to be 30 minutes. Route is 1.4 miles. Program is 2.1 hours with a total stop time of approximately 95 minutes.
