The United Community Change Freedom Celebration Walk is diverse in culture, educational and progressive. This is an opportunity for you to be apart of  the change that promotes community unity, and diverse and inclusive civic participation. Help increase non partisan community knowledge and the amount of diverse people to act on their legal right to vote locally and nationally in upcoming elections; All while celebrating the history and holiday that laid the foundation of those rights.

Twenty percent of all proceeds will go toward supporting minority and disadvantaged children in the local area to go to any extra curricular program activities of their choice in order to increase opportunities, promote healthy, active minority lifestyles and meet the goal of increasing local extra curricular program diversity for children.

 

5k Race Morning Schedule – Jordan Valley Park (Springfield Mo)

7:30 a.m.—Packet Pickup and Walk Up Registration opens
8:30 a.m.—Walk Up Registration closes
9 a.m.—5K Starts
10:05 a.m.— Tot Dash 1K (as soon as 5K is finished)
10:30 a.m.—Awards Ceremony (as soon as 1K is finished)
