The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is proud to bring you the latest version from our collaboration beer project “Missouri Loves Company” – a Cold IPA. Brewers from across the Show-Me State came together at Piney River Brewing Company in Bucyrus, MO in late July to brew the recipe they developed together via video conferencing. The brewers vote on what style they want to brew and we work with our Allied Trade partners on securing ingredients and supplies. The experience gives our brewers the opportunity to experiment with new ingredients and collectively see how they will work in a recipe before they decide to use them in their own breweries.

Missouri Loves Company Cold IPA is brewed with a pilsner malt bill with puffed jasmine rice, lager yeast, and hopped with whole-cone Strata and dry-hopped with Idaho 7. This 6% ABV Cold IPA is a crisp, hop-forward, yet not overly bitter, beer that will help cool you down during the last few weeks of our humid Missouri summer. We hope you love drinking it as much as we loved brewing it.

The name of our collaboration beer series genuinely represents our state’s craft beer community. In spite of the challenges everyone faced during the last 18 months, we are never truly alone. Even before a virus rocked our worlds, Missouri craft brewers helped each other solve problems, share ideas, and work together to make all Missouri craft beer better. That spirit of camaraderie remained strong and helped forge new and stronger bonds among our already close-knit group.

The new festive label design differs from the previous two releases of the Missouri Loves Company brand in an effort to recognize and celebrate the state bicentennial – Cheers to 200 years, Missouri!
