Springfield Regional Opera presents international opera star Michael Spyres’ role debut as Canio–his first US staged appearance since recent engagements at the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and BBC Proms.
Experience the searing passion of Pagliacci coupled with an original Vaudeville prelude which foreshadows the drama of Leoncavallo’s opera. Stage direction by Michael Pinkerton with music director Christopher Koch conducting the SRO Orchestra and Chorus.
