The fruitful creative partnership of composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II spanned the 1940s and ‘50s and gave us some of the best-loved, longest running, most successful shows in Broadway history: “Oklahoma!”, “Carousel,” “South Pacific,” ‘The King and I,” “The Sound of Music” and many more, most of which were also adapted to popular films.

While bursting with song and dance, the productions of this award-winning duo also featured emotionally complex characters, thought-provoking storylines, and themes that addressed social issues still relevant today, thus cementing their enduring, multigenerational appeal.

Celebrate the golden age of musical theatre with this stellar showcase of American Songbook classics, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “A Grand Night for Singing!”
