In partnership with Mother’s Brewing Company, Springfield Contemporary Theatre will be producing “SCT Sings B’Way Rock!” on Sunday, October 4th at 6:00PM.
On the heels of SCT’s first virtual offering, “Fascinating Rhythms: A Taste of SCT Sings”, this will be Springfield Contemporary Theatre’s first live performance since March, and promises to be an evening of safe, socially distant, head-banging, air guitar-filled entertainment for everyone. Utilizing Mother’s Brewing Company’s amazing back lawn, the concert will feature music from musicals with pop/rock scores like Hair, Rent and The Rocky Horror Show to more current shows like Dear Evan Hansen and Mean Girls. The concert features local vocal artists and musicians led by Resident Music Director Alex Huff.
Springfield Contemporary Theatre and Mother’s Brewing Company are working together to ensure safety and social distancing protocols are maintained. Audience members will be expected to wear their masks when not seated and are recommended to wear masks seated when not eating or drinking. Mother’s Brewing Company is also utilizing contact tracing practices to ensure everyone’s safety.
Tickets can be purchased for this one-night-only experience on Springfield Contemporary Theatre’s website beginning September 1. There will be three levels of seating available for this event: $20 Central Seating (chairs provided), $15 Front Lawn Blanket Seating (bring your own blanket), and $10 Rear Lawn Seating (bring your own chairs). All seating options are considered general admission and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
There is a scheduled rain date of Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at 6:00pm.
