Welcome to the Renaissance! Set in the 1590’s, where the Black Plague has ceded power to the Puritans, farthingales and codpieces are the latest fashion trend, and the biggest celebrity in England is a playwright named William Shakespeare. Brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are trying to keep their acting company afloat as they set out to write the world’s very first musical, but amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self. This outrageous, crowd-pleasing musical farce features large song and dance numbers and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters!
