You are invited to join the Songwriters Guild of the Ozarks for a night to remember of songwriters! The night will begin with special songwriter guest Gary Scott. He will share three of his songs and tell the stories behind his music. Then the mic will be open for anyone who would like to share one of their originals and share the story behind their song.
Gary Scott has written original songs that were recorded by artists such as Waylon Jennings, Rex Allen Jr, Tony Mantor, Wanette Robertson, Splinter Middleton, Julie Harris and more.
Gary also has worked as the co-producer and producer for many productions that include Crystal Recording, Sarah Shelton with Rex Allen Jr. in Las Vegas. He was also the winner in 1989 Music City Song Festival in Nashville, TN. Additionally, Gary Scott received two top 10 awards in the vocal division.
Gary has written liner notes, and commercials. He was the script writer for ” The Men of the West and Marla” in the ” The Gone Country Extravaganza” starring Rex Allen Jr., Las Vegas, NV. He is currently writing a book on archery and shorts called ” The Redneck Gazette.”
