The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that’s fun and rewarding for the entire family.

 

At the 2019 SW Missouri Heart Walk, attendees will have a variety of activities to choose from!

• Kids Zone, Including Balloons and Face Painting
• 1 Mile & 3 Mile Walk Routes
• End your Walk with a Lap Around the Perimeter of Hammons Field!

 

HOW TO HELP:

Company Teams are formed when corporate companies engage their organization to participant in Heart Walk by setting a fundraising goal and encouraging all employees to participate. The Heart Walk is a great way to promote health and wellness in the workplace.

 

Community Teams are made up of friends and family committed to making a difference in the fight against heart diseases and stroke. Family and friends form teams through their family, neighborhood, church, service clubs, survivor groups, etc., and many teams are formed to raise money in honor or memory of a loved one.
