Springfield Contemporary Theatre’s Silver Anniversary Gala — at The Old Glass Place

In honor of Springfield Contemporary Theatre’s Silver Anniversary Season, a celebratory gala event will be held Saturday, September 28 at the Old Glass Place. The evening will be hosted by Academy Award-nominated actress Tess Harper (Crimes of the Heart, Breaking Bad) and LA actor Jack Laufer (Mad Men, Masters of Sex). The event kicks off with a cocktail hour with great food and cash bar and will culminate in a musical retrospective of SCT’s first 25 years featuring a selection of Springfield’s best performers and a few special guests returning to Springfield to celebrate with us.

The evening kick offs at 6:30p.m. (doors open at 6:15pm) with a cocktail cash bar reception during which patrons will have a chance to meet and mingle with friends and special guests. Food, provided by leading restaurants and Springfield chefs, will consist of heavy hors d’oeuvres and bite-sized desserts. Single tickets are available for $100 or you can choose to sponsor a table of 10 for $1000. Table sponsors will be prominently featured on visible signage at your table in addition to listings on our video monitors throughout the evening.

SCT Resident Music Director Alex Huff helms a special concert event celebrating SCT’s 25 year history with music spanning the Vandivort Center Theatre years through more recent productions from Center Stage. The evening features performances by Kim Crosby (Broadway’s Into the Woods), Seth Dylan Hunt, Johnnie King, Ryan King, James Brandon Martin, Kelly Osborne, Carol Reinert, Jennifer Armstrong Shaver, Erica Spyres (Broadway revival of Carousel) and other special guests.
