Sam and Dean Winchester; two Midwest brothers on a quest to vanquish monsters, demons, and other forces of the paranormal. They’ve laid course to maintain the family business of saving people, and hunting things that go bump in the night. As season 3 continues, the Winchesters, along with their hunting buddies still have a lot of work to do.
As Bobby dismantles the legendary Colt to see how it works, and what mystical properties it houses for killing demons, Sam and Dean hit the road to Ohio where peculiar murders and suicides had been taking place.
Upon arrival, they meet the Father of a local church whose attendee had killed himself earlier in the week. Later on, they meet up with Dean’s old hunting buddy, Richie in the same motel they happened to be staying at. Birds of a feather and what-not.
After settling in, the brothers and Richie set out to scope the local scene. They head to a tavern where Dean and Richie fight over Casey, the bartender, whereas other patrons seem to be giving into their most primal instincts, and holy water isn’t doing the trick to date them. No demonic possessions? Or is this something else entirely?
Meanwhile, Bobby is setting the sight (literally) on the Colt when Ruby shows up. Bobby takes a shot at her (also literally) to no avail from the firearm. Ruby offers to help set it right, though Bobby remains skeptical.
Back in Ohio, Richie trails off with Casey to her remote cabin in the middle of the woods. Richie makes himself comfortable to soon to late to discover that Casey is hiding a dark secret.
Will the Winchesters find out what’s going on in this seeming Las Vegas of Ohio? Will Bobby be able to fix the Colt? Are people giving into their basest desires from demonic influence, or is something else afoot in this strange town?
