We at the Downtown Springfield Association shudder to think where we’d be without the mothers in our lives. Do you feel the same way? Then let’s spoil these special people Sunday, May 10. Here are some recommendations to help this Mother’s Day.
Don’t make mom cook! Many Downtown restaurants are open again with limited seating. Many more are still offering curbside pickup or delivery.
Greek Belly has three very limited seatings, at 10:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 2 p.m. They’ll have their regular menu as well as their brunch menu. Call 417-597-3382 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make a reservation.
Have a big family to feed? Check out what St. Michael’s Restaurant and Catering is offering. Their Mother’s Day Italian Dinner Special feeds 8-10 for $119.95. Smaller servings are also available. You’ll get lasagna, meatballs, salad, bread and a whole cake! Call 417-865-2315 or 417-861-3381 to order.
St. Michael’s is also offering a Mother’s Day dinner for two for $29.95. That comes with cheese lasagna served with tequila lime salmon, salad and a slice of banana cake.
Amycakes is now offering Monthly Favorites Boxes. The May box features things like Take ‘n’ Bake Cinnamon Rolls, Fresh Raspberry and Triple Chocolate Cupcakes, Confetti and Chocolate Whoopie Pies, and an assortment of Cake Truffles! You can choose a large box (25 items, $59.99) or a Small Box (12 items, $32.99). There are limited quantities of these each week, so order online to reserve yours for May 8th or later.
Queen City Soda & Sweets has gift baskets available. They can make custom baskets, too! They’re open 11-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
Many of Downtown Springfield’s retailers are open again! That includes 5 Pound Apparel. They have incredible candles, bags and more for your mom. Curbside service is still available, too!
A Cricket in the House will reopen Saturday, May 9, at 11 a.m. for all your home furnishing and gift needs.
The Merry Moore Boutique is open Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9. It’s also their one-year anniversary and they’ve got some incredible deals going on, including a 50% off section. There will also be new accessories, jewelry, gift items and some exclusive limited designs.
Does mama love vinyl? Heavy Heads Records is open all weekend, noon-6 p.m. Treat your mom to some great music, which is truly a gift that keeps on giving.
