Normans Bridal, one of downtown’s celebrated bridal shops known for its impeccable window displays, celebrates its 38th anniversary this year. That’s definitely something to be proud of, but Normans has another big reason to celebrate. Normans recently took to Facebook Live to announce that Sales Manager Patty Smulski was named the 2018 Bridal Stylist of the Year by Do You Speak Bride, a prominent bridal consulting organization.

Brenda Norman, owner of Normans Bridal, penned a letter in support of Patty’s nomination earlier this year. “Patty is one of those stylists who not only challenges herself [and] her fellow team members,” Norman said in the letter. “But she is always challenging me as an owner and person to take my business to a new level.”

This year will mark Patty’s fourth anniversary as a member of the Normans team, quickly racking up the highest sales of any employee in Normans history. She has quickly proven herself to be an invaluable asset for the downtown bridal scene, rapidly becoming widely known for the careful attention she pays to her brides.
