The downtown scene is growing every day, and there are plenty of ways to get involved. Whether you’re a seasoned Downtowner or a new Springfield resident, it’s easier than ever to find your downtown. Get started with these fun opportunities provided by the Downtown Springfield Association (DSA):

1. Network at a DSA mixer

   Members of the Downtown Springfield Association gather on the second Tuesday of each month at rotating locations. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow downtowners and grow your network.

2. Save big with the Downtowner Loyalty Program

   DSA members get serious discounts at over two dozen Downtown businesses. The specials change regularly—check the list to keep up with the latest deals!

3. Sign up for our weekly e-blast

   What’s happening this weekend? Our weekly e-blast is the best way to get plugged into live theatre performances, community events, shopping specials and more. Want to get the word out about your event or business? The blast is sent out to almost 4,000 subscribers each week. Contact us for advertising opportunities.

4. Join us for community events

   Downtown is home to some of the area’s most iconic community events. Visit our event calendar for more information!

5. Shop ’til you drop

   The downtown retail community is thriving, and there’s no better way to experience it than with regular shopping events. From back-to-school Shop Hops to the annual Christmas on Campbell holiday open house event, downtown has some of the best retail options around. 6. Enjoy free lunchtime tunes

   Our seasonal lunchtime concerts are the talk of the town. Join us every spring for Wednesdays in Founders Park and every fall for Fall Fridays at Park Central Square.

7. Get sporty with the Downtown Wiffle League

   DSA members compete every summer in the Downtown Wiffle League, a fun, friendly sports league with two divisions—the Queen City competitive division and the Sandlot recreational division. Want to form a team? Contact us for more information.

8. Read with the DSA Book Club

   DSA bookworms meet every other month at various downtown locations in this collaboration with the Park Central Branch Library. We chat about the latest books over drinks and snacks, and it’s always a good time.

9. Plan your route with street closure updates

   DSA members receive regular updates from the City of Springfield and DSA. These updates are especially helpful for downtown office workers and residents.
