The Downtown Springfield Association hopes you’re all staying well during this time. And we want to express our appreciation for all the support we’ve seen of our Downtown breweries, coffee shops and restaurants.

All businesses have been hit hard by the COVID-19 outbreak. That is especially true for our retailers, who have had to close their doors. Some are able to conduct business online, others are not.

Just like with our dining establishments, we’ve seen lots of innovation from our retailers. SOAP refill station has created a delivery service. It’s just like the milkman, but with cleaning supplies! Delivery days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and they deliver within Springfield city limits (if you’re not technically inside the city limits, call the shop at 417-319-5188). Orders must be placed and paid for before 11 a.m. to get in on that day’s delivery. You can place your order over the phone during business hours, or by filling out this form. They’ll call you for payment and delivery details. There is a $5 delivery fee that goes directly to the drives. Those drivers are all people who cannot currently work their normal job.

5 Pound Apparel has launched a T-shirt Club! For $100 you receive five newly-designed T-shirts, shipped monthly beginning April 20 (one shirt per month). All shirts will be Midwest, Ozark Mountains or 5 Pound Apparel oriented. And satisfaction is guaranteed! These tees can be exchanged for another design in-store. The T-shirt Club will support Ozarks Food Harvest, our partners for Taste of SoMo!

The Merry Moore is offering Merry Care Packages in two different sizes as well as Mystery Grab Bags. Those grab bags come with three surprise items for $60 and ships for free — and the value of the bag is well more than that $60 price tag. All you do is select your size and be surprised. Shoppers receive two clothing times (tops and/or dresses) and one accessory item.

Small Care Packages are a $37 value, but they sell for $30. Send one to a friend (or yourself) to make the day a little brighter. The care package includes a motel-style keychain, 3.5-ounce soy candle, hair tie and a card. You can select the items you would like, or have The Merry Moore pick them for you! The Large Care Packages are a $100 value, but you pay just $80! That price gets you the same items as the Small Care Package as well as a market bag or clear wristlet, and Salt Water Sandals or a sale tab item of your choosing. It also ships for free.
