Downtown Springfield Association

The 2017 Festival of Lights season includes a flurry of downtown-centric events. This year’s Festival of Lights kicks off Saturday, Nov. 18 with updated programming in Park Central Square, including a festive celebration during the annual lighting of the Square tree.

Other Festival of Lights activities throughout November and December include horse-drawn carriage rides, free ice skating, holiday productions, shows and concerts and the Downtown Springfield Christmas Parade. Festival of Lights is presented by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, the Downtown Springfield Association, the Downtown Springfield Community Improvement District and the City of Springfield.
