The Downtown Springfield Association is seeking qualified applicants for the newly established C-Street Community Improvement District Coordinator and Better Block SGF Placemaking Specialist position to support the efforts of both organizations in promoting urban growth and activity within Springfield’s Center City. The CID Coordinator and Placemaking Specialist should understand and embrace the mission of both organizations and have a genuine passion for community betterment. Better Block projects are mostly temporary, urban interventions that demonstrate a series of rapid prototypes that improve quality of place.
Reporting to the DSA Executive Director, the CID Coordinator and Placemaking Specialist will provide administrative support for both the C-Street CID Board and Better Block SGF Board, focusing on communications, project management and marketing efforts. This position would require the ability to balance an assortment of tasks and projects between the two organizations.
