The Blue Room Comedy Club is temporarily closed, but plans on re-opening in the future with its usual stellar lineup of comedians. You can support them and get ready for a night full of laughs in the future by purchasing a gift certificate from their website!

Box office operations at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts are currently closed. Tickets are still available for purchase 24/7 at HammonsHall.com, but please note that many of their normal functions, such as ticket mailings, will be delayed. NEW: Martha’s Vineyard is open! They are operating with limited capacity as they follow the guidelines put in place by the City of Springfield, the Greene County Health Department, and the State of Missouri.

The Moxie has temporarily closed, but they are bringing the movies to you!  They’ve teamed up with Oscilloscope Films to allow you to rent “Saint Frances” for $10. Click on this link and you’ll get a link to the film, viewable on any internet-connected device including laptops, tablets and smartphones (and if you have the appropriate technology, you may be able to stream it to your TV at home). You can also support Moxie at their membership page.

Regal Cinemas has closed all theaters until further notice. Consider supporting Regal College Station by purchasing a gift card for future shows.

SCT has suspending operations until further notice. Their plan is to produce The Cake as soon as the CDC clears the way for activity to return. They hope to be presenting this production in June 2020 to launch the 26th Season of theatre in downtown Springfield, but only time will tell. A remarkable cast is in place and they are eager to share this great story with audiences. SCT’s May 2020 production of Parade will be postponed to May 2021 to close their upcoming season. They also hope to reassemble the cast of SCT Sings Burt Bacharach as soon as we are able. Here’s how you can help support SCT during this hiatus.

Springfield Improv is currently closed, but they’re creating some fun stuff for their website! You can support them with a donation, or purchase a gift card and check out a show when they return. Springfield Improv has also added a video page where they are posting some clips from past shows for people to watch. They have also changed their classes page so that it now hosts sets of Improv exercises that can be done solo or in a small group! Have some fun while you’re at home!

Springfield Little Theatre has postponed shows for now. New dates are Matilda The Musical, May 8-23; Curtains & Corks: A theatrical wine tasting, May 19; Deep in the Heart of Tuna, June 11-21; Kinky Boots will open the 2020-21 season Sept. 11-27.
