The Artsfest on Walnut Street experience is being elevated in 2019.
This year’s festival, May 4-5, brings with it a chance for you to become a Patron and unlock a higher level of fun. That will encompass several new perks, including — drum roll, please — air conditioned bathrooms and special parking!
Here’s an FAQ about this new option.
This new experience allows the greater Springfield community to expand its support for artists. That includes members of the Springfield Regional Arts Council. They can become Patrons by upgrading their membership. Not an SRAC member? You will gain an annual membership with your Patron purchase.
All Patrons receive incredible perks and swag. They’re also invited to the Patron Arts Event Friday, May 3. This exclusive event gives early access to many artists with art for sale at this year’s Artsfest on Historic Walnut Street.
The levels start at $50 for non-SRAC members and $15 for members. The highest level is $1,250. All levels include great perks and the top three levels get to present a cash prize.
Enthusiast — $50 ($15 for SRAC members)
Advocate — $100 ($65 for members)
All Enthusiast perks, plus:
Collector — $250 ($215 for members)
All Advocate perks, an extra $25 in Art Bucks, plus:
Curator — $500 ($465 for members) only five spots available
All Collector perks plus:
Ambassador — $750 ($715 for members) only three spots available
All Curator perks, except their named and presented award is worth $500.
Executive — $1,250 ($1,215 for members) only one spot available
All Ambassador perks, except their named and presented prize is the only $1,000 Best In Show artist award at Artsfest!
All patrons will have exclusive access to this event Friday, May 3, from 6-8 p.m., on Historic Walnut Street. There they pick up their perks merchandise, dine on small plates from Chef Drake Tillman and enjoy wine or beer from Glaziers and Heart of America. There will be live music to help set the mood for the night.
Patrons will be able to browse several artists’ booths and buy their art before Artsfest opens to the general public May 4. The official shopping lineup will be set in April.
You can visit the SRAC website if you’re ready to become a proud Patron today. Have a few more questions? Call Nicole at 417-862-2787.
