It’s time for Taste of SoMo!

June 21, 2018

Downtown Springfield’s Park Central Square will be buzzing Saturday, June 23, with Taste of SoMo, the Queen City’s premier culinary event. The day will feature the best regional restaurants, craft beer, local music and more.

Whether you’re a Taste of SoMo veteran, or ready to check it out for the first time, here’s everything you need to know.

What is Taste of SoMo?

This annual foodie fest, presented by SGC Foodservice, at Park Central Square gives you a chance to sample food and drinks from more than 25 of southwest Missouri’s best restaurants and vote for your favorite. Enjoy delicious cuisine, beer sampling, learning stations, live music and more!

Want another reason to go? Taste of SoMo raises money for the Downtown Springfield Association and Ozarks Food Harvest, meaning you can do good for your community while having a good time!

How does it work?

Entry to Taste of SoMo is free, food samples are not. You can buy sheets of 10 tasting tickets for $10 at any of our three booths, and we accept cash or credit cards. Stroll around the square and listen to live music from The Range, ReaMooreNewman, Margot and the Kidders and Funk Tank while you enjoy all the delicious appetizers, entrées and desserts you can eat. Sampling ends at 5 p.m., but stay until 7 for more live music, food truck dining and beer!
