Springfield’s Earth Day Music and Sustainability Festival is the yearly music festival held on the Saturday closest to Earth Day. It’s a one-day, ticketed, plastic-free, music and sustainability festival that raises funds to help support our local environmental organizations.

Every year features live musical acts from prominent local and regional bands, with top-notch production and stages. This year welcomes headliner The Ozark Mountain Daredevils!

In addition to music, sponsors and other local businesses who want to make an impact on the environmental movement will have booths at the event, sharing helpful information and selling sustainably-made goods. All beverages are sold and served in commemorative, reusable, take-home cups that guests make a one-time purchase of to benefit the cause.

As a leave-no-trace event, guests have access to compostable/recyclable food containers and hydration stations where they can refill their own water bottles. All proceeds from the ticket sales go to the beneficiary organizations.

Most of all, this festival shows that there can be a festival without all of the garbage! And that you can have fun while being environmentally conscious! By raising funds in a public and festive event, it’s the hope to not only hand over much-needed cash to the beneficiaries, but also to serve as a yearly reminder to the local community of just how important it is to keep the environment clean and sustainable. Climate change action is urgently-needed, and by taking care of our local community, we are helping the global cause.
