Calling all Vikings! It’s time to return to the halls of Parkview High School and celebrate its unique and vibrant history. Join the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools for the second annual “Once a Viking, Always a Viking” Alumni Tour at Parkview High School on Friday, Sept. 26, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

When Parkview opened its doors in 1956, it represented a new era for Springfield—a state-of-the-art “School on the Hill” with a bold, mid-century design. For nearly 70 years, it has been a hub of Viking pride, academic achievement, and unforgettable traditions, including the world-famous Parkview Lassies.

 

After the tour, stick around and fill the stands with green and white to cheer on the Vikings football team as they go head-to-head against Branson!
