Red, White, and Booze – Bourbon Tasting with Ty Iechyd Da is part of our Distillery Diaries event series, a guided tasting experience that highlights standout spirits and the stories behind them. This installment celebrates one of America’s most iconic spirits—bourbon. As a local Ozarks distillery, Ty Iechyd Da has built a reputation for small-batch spirits, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a passion for creating something special close to home. Because bourbon is often considered America’s native spirit, this event is the perfect way to explore the tradition, flavor, and character that have made it such a staple of the American bar.

Led by Cat Wellever, guests will get an inside look at the distilling process, pick up fun facts to share with friends, and take part in a hands-on cocktail class featuring one of three bourbons: Hinterland: Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Maple Syrup Barrels, Lost Hollow: Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and Arcadia: Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Vanilla Barrels.

Your ticket includes a tasting of all three bourbons, one cocktail, and the opportunity to chat with an industry professional about the distilling process and what makes each pour unique. After the tasting, stick around for live music and keep the evening going. Full bottles will also be available for purchase at special pricing through Moxy Springfield Downtown after the event.
